Bio
Ian Reid is a multi-hyphenate artist working across photography and film, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. A former professional skateboarder, he seamlessly bridges visual art and storytelling, drawing from the energy and perspective of skateboarding culture to create work that blurs the line between reality and imagination.
His artworks are part of permanent institutional and private collections worldwide.
His books are available in libraries worldwide, including Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, Library of Congress, Harvard University Library, Princeton University Library, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Library, Sächsische Landesbibliothek in Dresden, Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in Munich.
